The new Vue pool bar is a cantilever, panoramic bar that sits above the main pool deck. During the day, you can sip your favorite drinks while enjoying ocean views. At night, you can enjoy the light installation over the bar that adds extra visual appeal. Wonder of the Seas is the first Oasis-class ship to bring all the suite amenities together into a dedicated neighborhood. It houses many, but not all, of the ships' top suites, an exclusive restaurant and lounge with bar and concierge desks, and a sun deck with a wading pool and hot tubs. There are plenty of food and beverage options here, including the huge Windjammer buffet, which means you don't have to leave your lounger for long when you get hungry or thirsty.
Holy Ship! Cruise ship 5 times the size of the Titanic sets sail
I've heard many people say they'd never set foot on a floating city like Wonder of the Seas, but the truth is the ship doesn't feel overly crowded because there are so many places for people to go. The Promenade feels as bustling as any popular mall or Vegas casino resort you've ever strolled through, and yes, the pools are often full to the brim with people soup. You will need to line up early for AquaTheater shows to get a reasonable seat. The Wonder of the Seas can hold 5,734 based on double occupancy (two people per room) and more when you take into account 3rd and 4th passengers. When you compare the total tonnage of the ship to the number of passengers, the Wonder of the Seas has a space ratio of 39. Depending on the ship, this number can range from 30 to 52 (with a bigger number meaning more space per person) so this ship's space-to-person ratio is about average.

Wonder is nearly 330 ft (101 m) longer than RMS Titanic and 165 ft (50 m) longer than Eiffel Tower (Paris City). The liner has several promenades, 1x FlowRider, 2x Rock-Climbing Walls, an Ice-Skating Rink, world's largest theatre at sea. In mid-September 2021 was announced that the ship's inaugural season will be in the Caribbean and Europe-Mediterranean.

But I'd never sailed on one of these world's largest cruise ships and was curious if I'd find a 6,988-passenger behemoth endlessly entertaining with tons of fun for kids and adults or an overcrowded mess. Welcome to the perfect spot to rest your head after a day spent discovering record-breaking thrills, spectacular shows and palette-pleasing flavors onboard the largest cruise ship in the world, Wonder of the Seas℠. Serving up spectacular views and deluxe amenities, our staterooms are an alluring escape from the non-stop action our ships are known for — and the perfect place to recharge in between adventures. If you're interested in the Ultimate Family Suite, book early; despite the high price tag that starts around $25,000 a week -- and up -- these rooms, which come with Royal Genie butler service, do sell out. Wonder OTS is a novelty mixture of Oasis-class deck layout and Quantum-class technology and design innovations.

As the name implies, inTENse is an intense performance with aerial acrobatics, slacklining, high diving, tumbling, and synchronized swimming. Adding to the performance are immersive lighting and sound effects that are sure to leave guests inspired. Guests can dine on Italian-American cuisine, with menu highlights including chicken parmesan and spaghetti carbonara. Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen also has an extensive pizza menu with pizzas made to order in the restaurant’s own pizza oven. Adjacent to the restaurant is The Mason Jar Bar, serving specialty cocktails including the PB&J Old Fashioned, Mississippi Moonlight, and All Shook-Up shake. Wonder of the Seas differs from her Oasis Class sisters, however, in that she has an eighth neighborhood onboard, the Suite Neighborhood.

The Wonder of the Seas is one of six Oasis-class ships currently sailing with Royal Caribbean. Oasis-class ships are the second largest class of cruise ships in the world. Their split-superstructure design creates unique outdoor spaces in the middle of the ship called Central Park and the Boardwalk. This class of ships also introduced the "neighborhood" concept, which groups venues into different themed zones to help improve people flow. The Wonder of the Seas is very similar to its sister-ships; Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas, Symphony of the Seas and Utopia of the Seas, although each ship may have some differences. The late-night menu (served after 9 PM) has various items priced between $3-9, including Fried Green Tomatoes, Blue Crab Beignets, Crispy Fried Chicken Sandwich.

Cantina Fresca is a Latin-themed bar focusing on Mexican-inspired cocktails. This is the place to go onboard for margaritas, with flavors including pineapple jalapeño, strawberry, mango, and passion fruit. Mexican agua frescas are also available here, the first ever offered on a Royal Caribbean ship. Dining package availability is limited, so it’s a good idea to book a dining package early via the Cruise Planner website. Both a 3-night Dining Package and Unlimited Dining Package may be available depending on the cruise.
How much does it cost to go on Wonder of the Seas?
The rock climbing walls and zip lines are both waiting for you on the boat, as well as FlowRider, the surf simulator, and The Ultimate Abyss, the tallest slide at sea. Royal Caribbean’s ships are known for eliciting wows from passengers. Get a look at their innovative approach to cruising in this photo gallery that features the FlowRider, AquaTheater and Central Park.
I booked my daughter and myself into a Grand Suite, the lowest level of suite that qualified for Sky-class perks, including full access to Coastal Kitchen and the Suite Lounge. A new playground space bleeds into the minigolf course, which is next to the grab-and-go Mexican venue and near the multistory slide entrance, so it's an easy place for families to set up shop. The sun deck was lovely, and if I hadn't been traveling with a young child who preferred the splash park, I'd have spent all my sun time lounging there. The concierges were a great help getting us show tickets and restaurant reservations, and whisking us off the ship in the easiest debarkation of all time.
It can hold up to 6,988 guests and has about 2,300 crew members from worldwide servicing it. The location above the pool deck offers comfy seating with panoramic views of the ship and ocean, and is sure to be a popular hangout spot on sea days. Signature drinks to try at The Lime and Coconut are the Rum Runner, Mai Tai, Watermelon Rita, and Lime and Coconut. The Suite Neighborhood is an exclusive enclave available just for suite guests on Wonder of the Seas. Located at the top of the ship, suite guests can enjoy a private neighborhood that features the Coastal Kitchen restaurant, Suite Lounge, and private Suite Sun Deck.
I then hopped on one of the many shuttles that Royal Caribbean offers (you have to purchase a seat on the shuttle before the trip) to Miami International Airport, which I flew out of that evening. Relax at Royal Caribbean's spa, onboard gym, fitness courses, boxing ring and jogging track. Royal Caribbean's spa has plenty of relaxing treatments like massages, facials and more. Learn about accessibility-friendly accommodations made by Royal Caribbean for guests with special needs, dietary restrictions and more. Jamaican waterfalls, intriguing cultures, and cave tubing—cruise to the Western Caribbean. Don’t miss a minute of your favorite teams while sailing on Wonder of the Seas.
Wonder of the Seas is the largest cruise ship in the world, measuring over 1,100 feet in length and featuring a capacity for almost 7,000 passengers. While the free venues alone offer plenty of choice, including the main dining room, Boardwalk Dog House and The Windjammer, it's worth budgeting for some of the specialty venues. Suite passengers will have the ability to dine in Royal Caribbean's exclusive Coastal Kitchen venue, which on Wonder of the Seas takes up a commanding space as a dual restaurant-lounge facing aft on Deck 17. Aboard Wonder of the Seas, balcony cabins can overlook either the ocean or the ship's inner outdoor spaces carved out from the center of the ship -- sort of like an inner courtyard at a swanky Caribbean resort. Windowed rooms can look out at the ocean, or at the ship's inner courtyards or the popular Royal Promenade. You’ve never had a family vacay like this before — with more onboard to see, do, play and conquer.
For a romantic date night, the elegant dining venue, 150 Central Park, serves fresh, seasonal fare prepared with ingredients sourced from the destinations you are sailing! Jenna DeLaurentis enjoys exploring new ports of call around the world on a cruise ship, learning about new cultures, discovering beautiful landscapes, and trying diverse cuisine. She loves to get active while at port, whether cycling through mountains in the Caribbean or scuba diving under the sea. Wonder of the Seas has more diverse pool seating compared to other Oasis Class ships.
The Windjammer is all set up in one open space, so you can see all the stations at once; it feels more open and less claustrophobic this way. Royal Caribbean's main dining room is perfectly fine, but nothing special. You can eat here every night and have an array of options, or you can skip it for the extra-fee specialty restaurants and not feel like you've missed anything.
